Man is currently an artist in residence at Artspace Gallery in Mackay, Queensland, Australia. Working with the gallery and Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens to photographically record and document the floral life native in the Mackay region. All the floral content will be curated into an art exhibition at Artspace Gallery Mackay and Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens in 2017 that promotes floral life native to the region.
Accompanying the floral images Man also recorded stories from the Mackay community in ‘what nature means to them’, along with the scientific and botanical names, historical facts and uses of each plant. The project was funded and organised by Artspace Gallery Mackay, Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens and the Queensland government.
